Business to be honored for Realising Practical and Sustainable innovations that Accelerate Prosperity.

The first-ever Legatum FORTUNE Technology Prize was announced by FORTUNE managing editor Andy Serwer during the FORTUNE: Brainstorm TECH Conference. The Prize fund of $1,000,000 will be awarded annually to for-profit organisations, or individuals, whose application of technology solutions has demonstrably improved the quality of life amongst impoverished populations in developing countries.

Global Easy Water Products Pvt. Ltd. (GEWP) has been chosen as one of the Finalists for the 2008 Legatum FORTUNE Technology Prize. As a finalist, Managing Director, Mr. Pratyush Kant Pandey, had been invited to Washington, DC where he has made a presentation to a panel of judges at the FORTUNE 500 Forum, December 1-3, 2008.

The final event was organized at Washington DC business leaders across the world were present in the fortune 500 forum.
